Education Entitlement Team Learning Mentor

About The Role

The Education Entitlement Team Learning Mentor plays a key role in supporting children and young people who are at risk of permanent exclusion or have already been permanently excluded. Working closely with Education Entitlement Team Coordinators, schools, families and partner agencies, you will help remove barriers to learning, support successful transitions between settings, and engage in preventative work to reduce exclusions. Most of your time will be spent working directly with young people, schools and alternative provisions, rather than being office‑based. This is a fixed term opportunity for 2 years.

• Build positive, professional relationships with children and young people who face barriers to learning, attendance or engagement
