Eddy Current Assistants - Willing to Travel

**Description**

**MISTRAS Group is now hiring dedicated Eddy Current Assistants local to the Greater Houston area that are willing to travel throughout the U.S. to cover projects, turnarounds, and call-out as needed.**

The Assistant Technician will assist the Level II Eddy Current Technician with the designated NDT method activities while gaining experience and knowledge.

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:**

+ Must be willing to travel.
+ Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks and respond to short notice work assignments
+ Assist technicians with setting up and tearing down of equipment
+ Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks, calibrations, and overall upkeep of equipment and facilities.
+ Assist with proper documentation and reports of services provided.
+ Learn and abide by company policies and procedures.
+ Proven ability to adapt to an ever-changing schedule.
