Reporting to the Nurse Manager and under the general supervision of a Charge Nurse assists both nurses and physicians with patients in the Emergency Department by performing both basic and complex patient care procedures

Current certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant **OR** an Emergency Medical Technician - either Ambulance, Intermediate or Paramedic preferred.

One (1) year of previous experience in an Emergency Department setting preferred.

Completion of a High School Diploma or its’ equivalent.

Current CPR certification at time of hire.

ACLS certification (Advance Cardiac Life Support) at time of hire or within six (6) months of hire.

Completion of a Basic Arrhythmia Class at time of hire or within six (6) months of hire.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within six (6) months to one (1) ...
