Candidate will work two shifts a week as an ED RN and one shift a week as an ED Charge. As an ED RN: candidate will perform nursing care to patients of all ages under the scope of IL RN license as well as the policies/procedures of CCH. As an ED Charge: candidate is responsible for providing clinical leadership and operational oversight during assigned shifts. In the absence of administrative leadership, the ED Charge assumes supervisory responsibility for the Emergency Department and staff.Duties include (but not limited to): Monitors adherence to infection control standards, OSHA requirements and Joint Commission guidelines; completes post-discharge follow-up communications and documentation; provides shift-level supervision and direction to ED staff; conducts leadership rounds to identify and resolve issues impacting patient care or operations; collaborates with leadership on resource utilization and departmental efficiency; cross t...
