Prairie View is a thriving region in the prairies of south western Manitoba with an approximate population of 2161. It is situated amongst the beautiful Birdtail and Assiniboine Valley regions, encompassing the communities of Birtle, Miniota, Foxwarren, Arrow River, Beulah, Isabella, Crandall and Solsgirth. Under the direction of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), Birtle Miniota & District Development Corporation (BMDDC) is seeking a self-motivated, qualified, results oriented leader for a fulltime Economic Development Officer.

The EDO will be responsible for planning and implementing community and economic development strategies, land use planning activities, and projects to support the Municipality’s economic priorities and initiatives.
