Ecology Scheduler

We are offering an exciting opportunity for someone with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills to join a team of ecologists and provide support and resource to our Northern Regional Team based at our York office within the Castle Howard estate.

The role is diverse and covers largely office administrative tasks including the scheduling of ecology surveys to be undertaken by one of our busy ecology teams across North Yorkshire and further afield throughout the UK. This will require strong logistical skills, some geographical knowledge and the ability to problem solve, often at short notice.

Our ecologists undertake a variety of protected species surveys including breeding and wintering birds, bat activity surveys, roost emergence surveys, internal/external inspections of buildings, and surveys for dormice, reptiles, great crested newt, water vole and badgers to name a few.
