Echo Sonographer

Responsibilities

This is a full-time, on-site Echo Sonographer role based in Edmonton, AB. The Echo Sonographer will perform high-quality echocardiograms and related cardiac ultrasound examinations, including transthoracic studies and basic stress or contrast procedures as indicated by clinic protocols. Responsibilities include preparing patients for studies, obtaining accurate and comprehensive ultrasound images, and documenting findings clearly for cardiologist interpretation. The role involves maintaining and calibrating ultrasound equipment, adhering to infection prevention and safety standards, and supporting efficient patient flow throughout the day. The Echo Sonographer will collaborate closely with cardiologists, nurses, and administrative staff, contribute to quality assurance initiatives, and provide professional, respectful communication to patients and colleagues.
