About the Role

The role is teaching in a centre guided by curiosity, creativity and strong relationships. The teacher facilitates learning by nurturing children’s ideas and interests within sensory‑rich, natural, open‑ended spaces.

Responsibilities

• Draw on Te Whāriki to plan and guide the educational journey of each child.
• Celebrate the magic of learning by capturing and sharing high‑quality assessments so every child’s progress can be celebrated.
• Create a supportive, equitable atmosphere where a sense of belonging is prioritised.
• Work collaboratively to build positive relationships across the team.
• Maintain a safe, beautiful environment where child wellbeing is the priority.

Qualifications

• Recognised New Zealand Early Childhood Education or Primary teaching qualification with current NZ registration.
• Warm communication style and the ability to build strong relationships.
