**Description**
SAIC is seeking an **Electrical Engineer or ECAD Draftsman** with strong experience in cable harness, test rack integration, and **Technical Data Package (TDP)** maturation for **next‑generation Hypersonic Missile System Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL)** test racks. This position provides direct engineering support to Hypersonics HWIL Laboratories, focusing on electrical design updates, technical data package refinement, and the integration of high-fidelity test equipment into the Hypersonic program.
The ideal candidate is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and highly skilled in **2D electrical drafting** , **cable/harness documentation** , and **Zuken e3.Series** workflows, including **DS-E3 PDM** . This role requires frequent engagement with geographically dispersed engineering teams as well as external partners delivering subsystem and test equipment updates.
