Early Education Assistant Teacher

PAY RANGE:

• $17.75-18.25 Hourly   AVAILABILTY: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-12:00pm POSITION SUMMARY: This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.


• The Early Ed Assistant Teacher is responsible for assisting the Early Ed Teacher with the daily supervision of program participants and is responsible for assisting in the planning, development, and implementation of program components and activities.
• The Early Ed Assistant Teacher works closely with the Teacher to guide the academic and social development of children, ensuring a safe, enriching, and healthy learning environment.
• The Early Ed Assistant Teacher, under the direction of the Teacher, uses a variety of resources to introduce new skills throughout the execution of activities.
