Early College Counselor
HFM BOCES and SUNY FMCC is seeking a dedicated, full-time, tenure-track Early College Counselor for a 10-month plus 20 days position. This unique role will serve as a liaison between HFM BOCES, its component districts, SUNY FMCC, and other local colleges. Some local travel required.
Core Responsibilities
+ Serve as the primary link between Institutions of Higher Education, HFM BOCES programs, participating school districts, and families.
+ Coordinate instructor and curriculum approvals, enrollment, and registration processes while maintaining high academic rigor.
+ Coordinate course approvals in collaboration with division chairs; ensure syllabi, learning outcomes, assessments, and textbooks meet college standards.
+ Vet and onboard high school instructors teaching college courses; verify minimum qualifications consistent with college policy and applicable accreditation standards.
