Duty Manager - The Warehouse, Blenheim

Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to take the lead in the absence of the manager, overseeing store operations and cashing up.

Hours of Work

• 1pm - 10:30pm – Friday and Saturday.

Fixed term: This role ends on the 1st of November 2026.

Responsibilities

• Take lead when manager absent, overseeing store operations and cashing up.
• Keep the team focused by ensuring continuous development.
• Actively promote a safe environment.
• Ensure trading requirements are met.
• Control shrinkage.
• Maintain consistency.

Qualifications

• Drive and ambition.
• Ability to interpret and execute plans.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• First Aid certificate and Building Warden training.
• Minimum two years’ service in retail and preferably some leadership experience.
