Duty Engineer

Overview

RiverFlow Dredging is seeking a DutyEngineer with a demonstrated ability to manage assigned duties promptly and efficiently. This position will be based on the RiverFlow Spirit, a trailingsuction hopper dredger that will commence operations in the Fraser River in June 2026.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Reading the Chief Engineer's Standing orders
• Monitoring and recording fuel levels of the day tank and settling tank
• Monitoring and recording levels in dirty water tanks, sludge tanks and main engine sump tanks
• Performing a general check on machineries (oil/water level, temperatures and pressure)
• Draining water from starting air bottles and air systems
• Draining water/sludge accumulated on F.O. daily tanks
• Documenting and reporting incidents, repairs, failures, use of spare parts and special activities
