About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for AWSAR Winch Operator/ Rescue Crewperson to join our dynamic growing team.
If you are an experienced SAR Technical Crewperson, we want to hear from you. Reporting to the SAR Chief Crewperson, you will play a pivotal role in the success of the Flight Operations department and the Company as a whole.
Responsibilities of the role include:
Ensuring the aircraft is prepared for SAR operations before each flight.
Dispatching stores, pyrotechnics or air-droppable life rafts.
Ensuring that cabin occupants and equipment are secured.
Conducting the rescue/recovery of personnel while deployed on the aircraft winch.
Ensuring all SAR equipment is set-up, functioning and secure prior to and during flight.
Conducting cabin management and aircraft clearances.
Provide any first aid requirements to rescued personnel.
