Technician Level 2 (Design & Technology) – Rawmarsh Community School

Salary: WPT Band 3 £25185 - £25989 (£22182 - £22890 pro‑rata)

Contract: Permanent (37 hours per week, term time plus all inset days)

Responsibilities:

• Workshop Management: Create and maintain a purposeful, orderly, and productive working environment to meet Health and Safety standards.
• Lesson Preparation: Prepare equipment, resources, and materials in a timely and accurate manner to support lesson plans.
• Student Support: Support practical activities under teacher guidance, ensuring Health and Safety and good behaviour of pupils.
• Maintenance & Repair: Clean and maintain equipment, carrying out repairs and modifications to uphold quality and safety standards.
• Stock Control: Order and maintain sufficient supplies of materials for lesson delivery and demonstrate safe use to staff and pupils.
