Overview

North Wales GP Out of Hours East Division invites applications for part‑time Drivers. Applicants are expected to work a minimum of 15 hours per month covering evenings, weekends, overnights and Bank Holidays. Hours are flexible and earn enhanced rates on all out‑of‑hours hours worked.

Main duties of the job

• Safely transport General Practitioners and Nurse Practitioners to home‑based patients and assist with treatment‑centre consultations.
• Be mobile to receive calls from the call centre and transmit accurate information (clinical and non‑clinical) to the GP.
• Ensure the car is roadworthy and stocked with equipment and drug boxes for home visits.
• Support other members of the Out‑of‑Hours team, including call dispatching and patient appointment booking when not driving, to ensure smooth service operation.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable, though Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome.
