Drilling & Blasting Superintendent

Technica Mining is seeking a Drilling & Blasting Superintendent to join our growing surface mining team . Reporting to the Project Manager, you will lead and oversee drilling and blasting projects within surface mining environments , ensuring all operations are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory and corporate standards. You will be accountable for costs, productivity, safety, environmental compliance, and the development of your team.

The key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Lead the planning and execution of drilling and blasting programs to meet project objectives safely and cost-effectively.
• Develop and implement drill and blast designs, patterns, and procedures tailored to site-specific conditions.
• Monitor and optimize blast outcomes, including fragmentation, muck pile profiles, and vibration control.
