Dozer Operator – Infrastructure (Water & Sewer)

Thompson Construction Group has immediate openings for Water and Sewer Dozer Operators supporting our Infrastructure division’s land development and subdivision projects in the Edmonton area.

Responsibilities

• Operate Dozer as it applies to ditching, sloping, support clean up in excavators and embankments, ripping, backfill etc. along with the ability to read grade stakes.
• Conduct pre and post operation equipment inspections and fill out daily checklist.
• Ensure a solid understanding of the issues involving ground disturbance.
• Participate in daily safety meetings and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Report all incidents, near misses, and equipment damage to site supervision.
• Maintain effective communication with supervisors and crew members.
• Work collaboratively as part of a construction crew to meet project timelines.
