Domestic Assistant

The position is 20 hours per week, from 05:30am to 09:30am Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will achieve a high standard of cleanliness in clinical ward-based environments and non-clinical areas throughout the hospital, ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment. Full on-site training and PPE provision are included.

Applicants requiring current Skilled Worker sponsorship to work in the UK are ineligible to apply for this position.

Main duties of the job

• Support the Facilities Supervisor and ensure the standard of cleanliness within the Trust is implemented and maintained.
• Vacuum, mop, general cleaning, damp dusting, clean bathrooms and toilets, empty bins, and use mechanical floor cleaning machines.
• Work as part of a team, with a flexible approach, good communication skills and the ability to use your own initiative.
