Job Description

Position Summary:

The Engineering – Project Department of Tarkwa Gold Mine seeks to employ an experienced individual to fill a Document Controller position on a Two -Year Fixed Term Contract through a Third-Party Contractor.

The successful applicant will be responsible for processing project documents and ensure that documents are distributed per procedure. The incumbent will update the document register as well as prepare necessary reports for vendors and the construction manager.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with engineers, vendors and site personnel regarding verification of documents

  • Establish and maintain vendor document, drawing and package registers

  • Ensure that the use of resources are not exceeded, and also work within the approved budget

  • Prepare project reports for distribution as well as exception reports for the Project Manager
