DO18335 Process Technician – (Gold Processing Plant) | FIFO 8/6| Immediate Start

MES is seeking an experienced Process Technician to join operations on a contract basis. This is a hands-on, safety-focused role within a gold processing plant, supporting day-to-day production and plant reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plant circuits (crushing, milling, CIL/CIP, elution/ADR, thickeners/TSF as applicable)
• Conduct routine inspections, fault finding and first-response troubleshooting
• Take samples, complete process checks, record data and maintain accurate shift logs
• Assist with shutdowns, isolations, start-ups and basic maintenance support
• Maintain housekeeping standards and compliance with site safety procedures

About you

• Previous experience as a Process Technician / Plant Operator in gold processing
• Strong understanding of process control, SCADA/PLC monitoring and plant safety systems
