District Early Childhood Educator - Posting #20

School District No. 22 (Vernon) is currently accepting applications for a District Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to support our early learning care facilities. This position is 21.25 hours per week, 10 month position. Anticipated shifts are Monday to Friday from 1:30 pm - 5:45 pm. Temporary to June 24, 2026. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Grade 12 plus the successful completion of a basic early childhood education training program recognized by the ECE Registry. Current Early Childhood Educator's Certificate to Practice from the BC government's ECE Registry. One (1) year of recent experience working as an ECE in an early learning or child care setting, inclusive of 500 hours of work experience performed under the supervision of a Canadian certified ECE. Equivalent experience working with school-aged children may be considered. Valid Child Safe first aid certificate.
