**Position Purpose:**
The General Manager II guarantees the overall success of a highly complex, 500,000 - 1.5 + million square foot distribution center environment to ensure it is a productive, safe and positive place to work. The GM II is responsible for the overall management, planning, organization and execution of complete day- to-day operation for the entire Home Depot distribution center and budget of typically $40+ million. They are responsible for maximizing productivity and expenses while working ethically and modeling Home Depot's core values. They accomplish this goal by developing strategies and objectives and leading a team of managers in executing these strategies and objectives. They must ensure that the distribution center is optimally organized to provide excellent customer service to Home Depot Stores and Customers by ensuring all merchandise is delivered on-time and damage free.
