DISTRIBUTION ASSOCIATE – DAILY DESK

**JOB DESCRIPTION** :

Person in this position will pick and pack orders for daily shipment to customer. They will display the ability to work closely with others and as a team. Responsibilities listed below cover some of the significant duties performed, but do not exclude other occasional work assignments not mentioned.

+ Obtain pick tickets from the daily desk and or Shipping Clerk, prioritizes them based on ship date and carrier
+ Pulls and Pack bulk material for Regional Distribution Centers
+ Coordinates daily shipments with customer services
+ Pulls and assembles hardware, trough, and wire products according to customer’s order.
+ Packages material into boxes and onto skids.
+ Scans all material with a scan gun to verify accuracy and completeness
+ Affixes appropriate labels and packing lists.
+ Prepares appropriate shipping documents
+ Operates a stretch wrap machine to secure boxes and reels ...
