dispensary delivery driver

Victoria Surgery is looking for a dispensary delivery driver to work a maximum of 8 hours on a Tuesday (flexible during periods of annual leave), transporting medication in a safe & timely manner to patients' homes across the Bury St Edmunds area & surrounding villages. This is initially a fixed-term position, for 12 months, with a view to extending to a permanent position. The post-holder will be a key point of contact for our patients & collection-point partners, so you will need good communication skills & a keen desire to give good customer service. The role will involve assisting patients & their carers by reporting their queries back to the dispensary to ensure they receive a prompt response. You will also maintain a log of all deliveries, organise your own route as efficiently as possible & carry out vehicle checks at the beginning or end of each shift, recorded onto our Clarity system.
