Director of Operations

Job Summary The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing manufacturing activities in pursuance of business goals. Includes reviewing production schedules, development of policies and procedures designed to increase productivity, assure quality, and mitigate production problems. Director of Operations will improve throughput and other in-house processes with the objective of reducing overall costs and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee and support all of manufacturing (Production, Metal Shop, Logistics)

Provide leadership for manufacturing and plant initiatives

Support long-term strategic plans and implementation of production procedures across the plant

Improve line efficiencies while improving quality levels, including the reduction of waste

Help in the selection of capital equipment as needed, create business case, and work with appropriate departments to purchase, installati...
