The Director of Health is a key leadership position within the Health Department, reporting directly to the Chief Integrated Services Officer and ultimately accountable to the Chief Executive Officer and Chief & Council. The Health Director is responsible for overseeing the departments daily operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, community-based services.

This role focuses on providing strategic and technical support by designing effective structures, systems, and processes that facilitate the development, coordination, and implementation of programs and projects. The Director also offers recommendations on translating policies into laws, regulations, strategies, and services that align with the communitys needs.
