Responsibilities The Industrial Processing and Power Division (IPPD) protects human health and the environment through regulatory programs and initiatives that reduce emissions and health impacts from air pollutants emitted by stationary sources such as power plants, industrial boilers, steel mills, mining operations, foundries, metals fabrication, refining and chemicals facilities, and bulk liquid storage.
