Director, Corporate Communication

The Director of Corporate Communications is responsible for planning, developing, and overseeing implementation of a wide range of corporate communications strategies for UVA Health, inclusive of the UVA School of Medicine and the Paul and Diane Manning Institute of Biotechnology. Reporting to the Senior Director of Enterprise Communication, the Director will oversee three communications portfolios including PR/Media Relations, Executive Communications/Thought Leadership and Communications Strategy for the Manning Institute. The successful candidate will possess command of many communications specialty areas including writing and editing, narrative development, story-pitching, crisis communications, and executive communications/presentations across all forms of media.
