DIR - ENGINEERING/PLANT OPS

Job Description

Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and controls the operations of the Engineering, Maintenance and Grounds departments.Complete all duties and functions of the hospital Safety Officer. Maintains compliance with applicable regulatory agency requirements, including; The Joint Commission (TJC), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), State and Local agencies, The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), etc. Manages staff and contractors to adequately to ensure and maintain the efficient and safe operation of all hospital buildings. Plans, predicts, maintains and repairs building and equipment. Utilizes energy management and tracking tools in order to maintain efficient utility operations. Develops and manages operating and capital budgets. Manages the Clinical Engineering, Safety and Security departments.
