Dietitian Assistant

Permanent part time role

Salary Classification: Allied Health Assistant Level 2 (year 1-3) / Level 3 (year 1-3)

Remuneration: $32.58 - $36.02 per hour + superannuation + annual leave loading + 
The Dietitian Assistant will be a key member of the Nutrition and Dietetics Department at the Calvary Nater Newcastle. The Dietitian Assistant will work closely with Dietitians and Food Services to meet the needs of patients requiring therapeutic diet support. The Dietitian Assistant will work a 0.5FTE rotating roster which includes weekends and public holidays.

Your main duties will include:
Assisting the clinical dietitian with implementation and monitoring of prescribed nutrition care plans.

Applying clinical nutrition / therapeutic diet protocols as delegated by the supervising dietitian
