Job Description

 
  Overview 
 Our client is currently seeking a Diesel Mechanic to join their team in their mining operation situated at Kathu, Northern Cape. 
  Key Performance Areas: 
 Maintenance of equipment
 Ensuring vehicles under area responsibility are in good condition
 Inspecting vehicles and analyzing raised faults
 Participation in a standby team for breakdown maintenance
 Maintaining customer relations and good housekeeping
 Equipment inspection and supervision of people, ensuring compliance with safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) standards. 
  Qualifications Required: 
 Grade 12
 Certificate in Diesel Mechanic (trade)
 Preference given to NQF4 qualified artisans
  Experience Required: 
 Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience as a Diesel Mechanic
 Experience with CAT (D10T2) is advantageous
