Diesel Mechanic

White Brothers are seeking a skilled mechanic to join our team!

White Brothers are the Waikato region's authorised Western Star, MAN and Detroit Dealer. We offer ongoing training opportunities, have modern workshop facilities, sophisticated equipment and a friendly work environment.

You need to have either qualifications as a diesel or petrol mechanic and have a stable work background. While truck experience is desired, we may look at either automotive mechanics or diesel mechanics seeking a new challenge in this sector.

This is a permanent full‑time role of 40 hours per week, with overtime available.

Responsibilities

• Running diagnostic tests on vehicles
• Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems
• Performing preventive maintenance
• Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles
