Job Summary
Fluence is seeking a Tools Developer to enhance fleet observability, troubleshooting efficiency, proactive monitoring, and operational reliability across its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) fleet throughout the Americas. This role sits at the intersection of Software Development, Linux Administration, Operational Technology (OT), Service Engineering, and Fleet Reliability, with responsibility for developing software tools, automation capabilities, monitoring platforms, and diagnostic solutions that improve system visibility, accelerate root cause analysis, reduce customer downtime, and support scalable fleet operations.
The successful candidate will combine strong Python development skills with hands-on experience supporting Linux/Ubuntu environments, Grafana, Distributed Access Systems (DAS), OS7 platforms, industrial networking, and monitoring technologies.
