This Diagnostic Sonographer will perform general and/or Cardiac examinations in the busy and dynamic Diagnostic Imaging Department at the Chinook Regional Hospital. Close collaboration with physicians, technical staff, nursing, patients, supervisor and management is required. This position may qualify for a recruitment incentive of up to $13,000 over 12 months.

Description

As a Diagnostic Sonographer I, you will perform a variety of standardized and complex ultrasound services for the diagnosis and tracking of disease and pathology. Your responsibilities include preparing the patient for examination, reviewing patient history, explaining procedures, obtaining ultrasound images of diagnostic quality, and taking initial action to resolve abnormal findings.
