Qualifications

• MS/BS degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• 5 years of proven experience in a similar position
• Strong technical skills and relevant experience in managing distributed systems in container scheduling platforms (bonus: Kubernetes)
• Experience managing workloads and designing reliable architectures in major Cloud Platforms (bonus: Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services)
• Used to managing infrastructure as code (bonus: Terraform)
• Experience designing, developing and maintaining backend applications (bonus: Nodejs, Typescript)
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools like DataDog, Grafana+Prometheus
• Experience with NoSQL document-based data stores like MongoDB, ElasticSearch and Redis
• Experience managing distributed data, high availability and automatic failovers
• Experience with git and GitHub (bonus: GitHub API)
