DevOps Engineer X2 Level 2

Core purpose of the role
The DevOps Engineer Level 2 is responsible for implementing and supporting automation, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and monitoring solutions. The role builds on foundational DevOps knowledge and provides more autonomy in supporting development and operations teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure platforms. The position balances RUN (system stability), GROW (process optimisation), and TRANSFORM (platform modernisation and innovation) initiatives.
Key deliverables and outputs
Automation and CI/CD Support
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline build, test, and release processes
Drive automation to reduce manual interventions and increase efficiency.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Environment Support
Build and manage environments using IaC tools such as Terraform or Ansible
Ensure consistent, repeatable infrastructure deployments.
