DevOps Engineer (Puerto Varas)

Responsibilities

• Securely deploy and configure software to remote IoT devices
• Participate in diagnosing and fixing device issues remotely and implementing procedures and tooling to help enable the field team to self‑diagnose and fix issues themselves
• Improve our redundancies so that the impact of a hardware failure is minimized
• Improve our autoconfiguration so that field operations do near‑zero on‑site configuration to install our hardware
• Improve our observability and monitoring to detect software or hardware issues before they cause an outage
• Monitor bandwidth and optimize software configurations to reduce bandwidth usage
• Interface with customer IT teams to deploy Aquabyte solutions
• Ability to travel occasionally for 2–4 days at a time away from Puerto Varas
• Fluency in Spanish and English, in both writing and speaking
• Physically able to lift 25kg
