DevOps Engineer, Contract

This is a remote position. We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer (DevOps) for a comprehensive digital infrastructure modernisation project within the public sector. The role of Platform Engineer is a full-time contract on a daily rate basis. Collaboration is primarily remote, though occasional on-site meetings in Germany may be required. The project is set on a 12-month contract basis. Fluent German is essential, complemented by professional-level English. Responsibilities Building and operating high-availability cloud and on-premise platforms. Administering and optimising Kubernetes clusters and OpenShift environments. Automating infrastructure processes using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC). Ensuring platform security, particularly regarding certificate management and identity protection.
