Development Inspector

Position Summary

Reporting to the Supervisor of Development Engineering & Inspections, Development Inspector will be responsible for providing general onsite construction coordination for plans of subdivision as well as inspection services as it relates to municipal infrastructure within plans of subdivision, private development and site alterations. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Provide general day-to-day coordination and inspection of onsite matters with regards to plans of subdivision and private development projects, to ensure conformance with approved plans; provide security releases, attend meetings, investigate complaints.
• Responsible for ensuring that all privately initiated public municipal infrastructure is inspected and constructed to City and Provincial standards.
