Despatch Operator

About the Role

As a Despatch Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of a busy external storage yard. This is a hands‑on, operational role where you’ll be responsible for picking, packing and loading products accurately while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and efficiency. Working as part of a collaborative team, you’ll help ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time and in full, while contributing to continuous improvement across yard operations.

What You Will Do

• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Load vehicles in the correct drop sequence to support timely deliveries.
• Receive, count and correctly store incoming stock.
• Operate forklifts and side‑loaders safely and to a high standard.
• Maintain stock accuracy through careful picking and cycle counts.
