Despatch Operative

If you’re looking for a career in the food industry we are one of Europe’s leading food processing companies. We have vacancies within a strong existing team for Despatch Operatives, whose goal is to assist in the efficient running of the Department.

We are currently looking for operatives on a 06:00am – 14:30pm and 09:15am – 17:45pm shift Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Stack, rotate and stock take in chill storage
• Select correct stock for assembling orders and transfer stock to despatch bay
• Process relevant documentation for each consignment
• Scan all crates on every pallet prior to despatch
• Check that correct number of crates on each pallet have been scanned and correct destination recorded
• Some associated duties in other departments when required
• Ensure cleanliness and promote and maintain Health, Safety and Hygiene standards
