Power BI Designer/Developer - Hybrid - Cape Town based Contract role
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy effective Power BI reports and dashboards.
Design databases and develop complex SQL queries on SQL Server to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources, including flat CSV files and Excel files.
Write SQL procedures and functions to optimize data retrieval and manipulation for Power BI reporting.
Utilize advanced Excel skills to manage, analyze, and prepare data for visualization.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data displayed in Power BI dashboards.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data visualization needs and provide solutions that meet business requirements.
Optimize SQL database designs and queries to improve the performance of Power BI reports.
Maintain and support existing Power BI solutions, including troubleshooting and making improvements as needed.
