Design & Release Engineer (DRE) – Interior Components

We are looking for a Design & Release Engineer (DRE) – Interior Components to support vehicle development programs for a leading global automotive OEM. This role is responsible for the design, development, validation, and release of interior systems and components , ensuring they meet cost, quality, performance, timing, and regulatory targets.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in automotive interior parts and thrives in a cross-functional, program-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and release of interior components such as:
• Instrument panel / cockpit components
• Trim parts (A/B/C pillars, garnish moldings)
• Consoles, door trims, or interior plastics
• Develop and manage component requirements, DFMEA, DVP&R, and validation plans
• Ensure parts meet fit, finish, craftsmanship, durability, and performance standards
