Design Manager

Ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the design process within a Main Contractor setting with a good understanding of UK Building Regulations.

Working on the delivery of industrial/warehouse schemes up to £25m, duties to include (but not limited to):-

• Manage the design process for the construction phase of projects, ensuring that all designs are delivered to the highest standards, within budget and timescales.
• Monitor Information release, in line with the IRS
• Monitor and report on RFIs and RFI statuses.
• Organise and attend Design Team meetings as required, producing minutes when requested.
• Review design submissions for quality and sufficiency.
• Coordinate information from Consultants, Employers agent and Construction Team and assist in overcoming issues and ensuring compliance.
• Producing reports within Asite, monitor and co-ordinate the design produced by consultants and subcontractors.
