Overview

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Design Manager to join a Tier 1 contractor delivering major refurbishment, fire remediation, and recladding schemes across occupied residential and higher‑risk buildings. This role will involve leading design from pre‑construction through to delivery, managing consultant teams, driving technical coordination, and ensuring compliance with the latest Building Safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the design process from tender through to project completion.
• Coordinate consultants, subcontractors, and client teams.
• Lead design meetings and technical reviews.
• Manage design programmes and track deliverables.
• Review drawings and ensure buildability and compliance.
• Support commercial and operational teams during delivery.
