Design Manager, Autonomous Vehicle Infrastructure

**About the Role**

At Uber, we're committed to accelerating the transition to autonomous vehicles (AV). The Global AV Infrastructure team plays a pivotal role in expanding infrastructure access to support Uber's ambitious autonomous and electrification goals. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Design Manager to join our team. In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for leading the design and site readiness phases of EV charging projects, ensuring they are delivered on schedule and within budget.

**What You Will Do**

+ **End-to-End Project Management:** Manage projects comprehensively from conceptual design through permitting and utility coordination, strictly maintaining quality, budget, and timelines.
+ **Vendor & Consultant Management:** Conduct RFPs, answer RFIs, level-set proposals, and select architects and engineers for the design of both maintenance depot and charging station projects.
