Hays Engineering are currently working with a client based in Co. Antrim who are looking to add a Design Engineer to the growing team. As a design engineer, you'll develop ideas for new products and production systems. You'll also improve the performance and efficiency of existing products.
Candidates will ideally be educated to a degree standard and have a minimum of 2 years industrial experience. However, candidates with other qualifications and good experience in the field of engineering design will also be able to achieve design engineer status.

Your new role
* Design - turning research ideas into detailed designs for production.
* Re-engineering designs to make them more production friendly to gain valuable
Manufacturing time.
* Reporting - writing or presenting engineering reports on various areas of design.
