Design Engineer

Role purpose

The
Design Engineer
is responsible for developing innovative solutions, systems, and component designs for use within the mining industry. By collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements, this role supports operational excellence and sustainable growth.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Proficiency in CAD software
• Engineering Council registration
• Minimum 5 years work experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in Mining & Quarrying
• Minimum 2 years' experience working in a similar role as the Design Engineer
• 1 year Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) experience
• 1 year of full lifecycle experience (concept → design → manufacture → site → failure feedback)
