Design Engineer

Overview

The position entails working with a multidisciplinary team, which includes developing mechanical drawings from concepts and taking them from initial design to manufacturing process and finally buy-off from customers. He/ she must be persistent and have strong problem-solving skills. He/ she should also be creative enough to generate innovative ideas and bring them to fruition.

Responsibilities

• Responsible in project design works such as engineering analysis, preparation of concept drawings, customer approval drawings, final design drawings, fabrication drawings and “As Built Drawings”.
• Design products using CAD, and consult with engineering and manufacturing teammates to ensure that designs are feasible.
• Prepare purchase part order list according to project requirement and analyze critical purchase parts and make early order planning.
